Calculating Member Handicaps (See CCGA Members page for current monthly index)
Capital City Golf Association maintains member handicaps in an attempt to make the game of golf more enjoyable by enabling golfers of differing abilities to compete on an equitable basis. Every CCGA member shall be responsible for turning in all acceptable scores, as defined by the USGA, to the club's handicap committee.

USGA Handicap Rules
A USGA Handicap Index is the USGA's mark which is used to indicate a measurement of a player's potential scoring ability on a course of standard playing difficulty. It is the result of a mathematical calculation based on scores returned. |
